  1. Why do we celebrate Kartika Masam? One of the most fortunate months on the lunar calendar is the Karthika Masam. The eighth lunar month in Indian astrology is known as Karthika Masam. On the Gregorian calendar, it occurs around November. Dakshinayana and Uttararyana are the two halves of the lunar calendar. Dakshinayana includes Karthika Masam. Dakshinayana is the only one of the two asanas designated for sadhana. Sadhana refers to a method for obtaining salvation. Karthika Masam is the best month for Sadhana out of all the ones in Dakshinayana. Karthika Masam is one of the most fortunate months in the lunar calendar as a result. The Karthika Masam has many meanings, but its most significant one is that it is fortunate for both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu worshipers. Both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu temples are crowded with worshipers during Karthika Masam. The Karthika Masam aids in our comprehension that Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu are one and the same, not two separate beings. Why we celebrate Diwali It is a month-long celebration that begins shortly after Deepavali Amavasya and is dedicated to both Lord Shiva and Maha Vishnu. The first of the month is Aswayuja Suklapournami. Both Vaishnava and Shaiva adherents consider this month to be the most sacred and fortunate. Offering prayers to "Shivakesavas", especially during this month, is thought to bring luck and prosperity. Among all the months, Karthika Masam is Lord Shiva's favourite. Devotees participate in a number of traditions and ceremonies during the Karthika Masa Vratham. It is thought that by performing these rituals, one can achieve moksha and have a good life. Every Monday, upavasams are performed. Dhanams such as vastradhanam, Swarnadhanam, and ghodhanam produce positive outcomes. Scientific Reasons Behind Diwali Throughout the year, the sun moves through each zodiac sign. A sacred and pure environment will be created on earth by the constellations that correlate to those signals in the cosmos. Sacred Bathing is the act of washing away all types of mental and physical pollutants, which purifies astral and emotional feelings as well as drives away previous karma. Water is an energy source that replenishes the atomic components of the body and mind. Bathing in this water during this month can treat stomach, liver, and other general diseases because the water is charged with a unique electromagnetic energy before sunrise. After the rainy season, rivers and the sea are fed by the rainwater that falls from the sky and strikes the trees. So any water storage areas, such as rivers and the sea, are drugged and terrified.

  2. When lamps are lit in homes, the lamp vapours act as a shield against the virus and germs that are more prevalent this month as well as the insects that reproduce more during this time. Worshipping By removing all disease-causing toxic chemical and bacterial pollutants from the air, Holy Tulasi promotes a healthy environment in the home. The plant is used to treat lung conditions including asthma and others. Lighting a lamp close to a tulsi plant brings wealth and delivers one from sin. Your immunity system will improve if you fast. Eat less and lead a healthy life is the underlying message. Yajurveda Karma Kanda mentions fasting. A person can behave and think in various ways. They are divided into the Satwa, Tamas, and Rajas groups. While Rajas and Tamas minds are relaxing and creative, greedy Rajas and Tamas minds are full of cravings and destructive thoughts. These mentalities are present in all of us. We need to have the ability to keep these thoughts in balance. Since milk, fruits, and dry fruits are offered to God, eating them would help us achieve satwa in our bodies. Since the mind is difficult to control and fasting on the pournami increases the vibrations in nature, it is crucial. Positive energy is brought into the mind by meditation in the morning and evening. Dana, who is from Japa, participates in the process of eliminating harmful elements. Fasting and the Tulasi plant are two essential elements to maintaining health in the Karthika Masam. These elements help fight off viruses, bacteria, and insects as well as battle sickness.
