  2. Germany is located in Europe. Germany has a mild climate,largely because the land is near the sea.

  3. The German flag is a horizontal tricolor with black, red, and gold stripes. The colors of the flag were the colors of the German soldiers during the Napoleon war.

  4. Work How people make a living. People make a living by growing crops like barley, potatoes, sugar beets, wheat, and rye. They also raise beef cattle and dairy cow.

  5. Recreation How people spend their leisure time.

  6. Food Favorite foods, drink, meals. Most Germans eat potatoes, bananas, and bread.
