  2. Online Payment Processing The online payment processing through the payment gateway involve a series of steps.

  3. The Visitor Front End At first, the visitor enters the required information such as Name, Card Details and Address, then, clicks on the submit button.

  4. The Payment Gateway and Fraud Prevention The Payment Gateway validates the information entered by the user. If the details are valid then the process continues else the Payment Gateway sends back notification to the user.

  5. Merchant Account If the details entered by the visitor are true then the payment gateway routes the money to the merchant account.

  6. Thanks, Receipt, and Reports Once the transaction is successful, a confirmation screen is shown, and payment receipt is shown and these reports are synced with the database.

  7. The Final Scenario The online payment processing involves a series of steps that lets a transaction take place securely. The steps explained here are not technical but it clearly depicts the online payment processing cycle.
