  6. Role of a Chemical Engineer and Chemistry Graduate Chemical Engineer: 1. Production: In a production department chemical engineer has to do routine checking ,keep maintenance and adjusting process parameters in allotted sections. 2. Process: It includes process modifications, installing and monitoring of equipment, development of new processes etc. 3. Design: Chemical engineers are also work in designing of process equipment according to required specifications. Chemistry Graduate: 1. To observe the properties of matter at the level of atoms and molecules. 2. Gains the knowledge about recent trends of chemicals, research on new chemicals and materials. 3. Analyses the substance, solutions to identify the physical, chemical and analytical properties of the substance and components present in the solution. 4. Studies a chemical reaction to estimate the reaction rate, optimum condition for reaction and mechanism of that reaction. 5. Explains the behaviour of the chemicals based on research work which includes repeated experiments and constant observations.
