Itprotectsconsumeragainstproducts, productionprocesses and serviceswhich are hazardousto healthor life. DUTIES OF A WELL INFORMED CUSTOMER While purchasing the goods,consumershould look at the quality of the product,the markedprice,guaranteeor warranteeperiod. Consumer shouldpreferably purchase standardize products which contain seal ofISI or Agmark. A consumer should ask for a cash-memo and warranteecard. Consumer must be aware of hisrightsand duties. He should know the method of how to proceed,ifhe is cheated.
