  1. Advancing India Defence Technology for a Secure Future Over the last 10 years, India's defence technology has made tremendous progress. India is poised to become an essential actor on the world stage and an important partner to other nations. Under the indigenous development, India has been working very hard towards increasing research and development to improve the capability of the Indian military. These objectives make this commitment to advancing technology not only about national security but also about self-sufficiency in defence production. Since the country is pressured to decrease import dependency, fostering innovative technologies is critical to maintaining a solid defence. The growth of India’s defence system cannot be disassociated from technology. But now, with threats miles more dynamic and divergent, it is high time for the Indian Armed Forces to rise. In their conventional warfare approach, organizations are introducing enhanced industry solutions, including artificial intelligence, drones, and cyber warfare systems. With a focus on technology integration, India wants to improve its functional preparedness and efficiency on the battlefield. This strategy transformation not only enhances defence functions all over the country but also ensures that India is ready to combat new security threats that may arise in the future. Innovations in India Defence Technology There are four main clusters in India's defence technology: missile systems, naval systems, and aerospace technology. Indigenous missile systems have further strengthened India’s retaliatory capabilities, so there is no chance that it would allow anything that harms it to go unanswered. Technological development has also impacted the manufacturing of astute submarines and warfare ships to boost the security of the seas. In the aviation industry, some of the ongoing strategic endeavours include manufacturing homegrown fighter aircraft and UAVs that are a foundation for a sustainable defence system. These innovations not only improve the security situation in the country but also put India on the front line of defence technology producers in the world. Hence, it is necessary to take a detailed approach to tap India’s defence potential. This multidisciplinary process returns the government, industries and research institutions into play. Through such partnership and with a focus on innovation by integration, India could move much faster to acquire modern defence technologies. Furthermore, skill development and training also create a confident working force for addressing the requirements of the burgeoning defence industry. The integrated approach is mandatory for building a healthy environment where innovation is encouraged and national security becomes invulnerable. The Role of Startups in India's Defence Technology The startups specialising in India’s defence technology have brought a new angle to the defence market. All these innovative companies are utilizing new-generation technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning and extensive data analysis to create products and solutions specifically for defence. The Indian government should follow the regulations

Developing cooperation relations between traditional leading players in the defence market and innovative startups can create new progressive solutions that positively affect utilisation efficiency.
