Since childhood, he had a fascination towards computer programming and started writing software in middle school. During his high school days, he developed a program named‘ZuckNet’that enabled communication between his home computers and those of his father’s dental office. He was an excellent student in academics and possessed unique tech and entrepreneurial skills since his early days. He got enrolled in Harvard University where he pursued Psychology and Computer Science. He was a part of Alpha Epsilon Pi and Kirkland House. In February 2004, Zuckerberg along with his dorm room mates Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes gave rise to ‘The Facebook’, popularly known as Facebook today.
