About NBA 2k • The NBA 2K series is a series of basketball simulation video games developed and released annually since 1999. • The premise of each game in the series is to emulate the sport of basketball, more specifically, the National Basketball Association, and present improvements over the previous installments. • The series was originally published by Sega, under the label Sega Sports, and is now published by 2K Sports.

Gameplay • Each installment in the NBA 2K series strives to emulate the National Basketball Association, and present improvements over the previous installments. • The modes center on the basketball career of the player's created player; the player customizes several aspects of their player and plays through their career in the NBA.

Games • NBA 2K1 :- NBA 2K1 was initially released in October 2000 for the Dreamcast. • NBA 2k2 :- NBA 2K2 was released in late 2001 and early 2002 for Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube. • NBA 2k3 :- NBA 2K3 was initially released in October 2002 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube.

ESPN NBA Basketball • ESPN NBA Basketball was released in October and November 2003 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox consoles. • The game introduces 24/7 mode, a career mode in which the player can create a customizable character and use them to compete in basketball tournaments and other competitions. • It is the only game in the series to not feature "2K" in the title, and one of two in the series to feature ESPN branding.

NBA 2k Rules • All games will be played using NBA 2K18 • Registration is free. • All players will play a minimum of 4 games per tourney • The length of playing time will be 3 minutes per quarter, except for the Championship Game, which will be 5 minutes per quarter. • You are permitted to change teams during the tournament.

NBA 2k League Draft Proved • The NBA 2K League is the first professional esports organization run by an American professional sports league. • In addition to saying the NBA is treating the NBA 2K League as “one more professional league,” Silver referred to its competitors as “NBA players.” • While there may not have been as much fanfare around the NBA 2K League draft as there would be around a traditional sport’s draft, it played out in much the same way.

It is the first game in the series to be released for the Nintendo Switch
