MISSION The Military Academy offers contextualised academic programmes at a certificate, diploma, graduate and post-graduate level and professional development to students of the DoD and foreign defence forces through technologically supported residential and distance education, and conducts research as well as community service for the military and broader community

  6. Preparatory Certificate in Military Studies: • NQF level 4/5 • 6 months • Residential • Certificate in Military Studies: • NQF level 5 • Residential 1 year • Distance education 2 years

  7. Diploma in Military Studies: • NQF level 5 • Residential 2 years • Distance education 4 years • Bachelor’s Degree in Military Science: • NQF level 6 • Residential 3 years • Distance education 6 years

  8. Post-graduate Degrees in Military Science BMIL HONS = NQF level 7 MMIL = NQF level 8
