  1. "वयंरा?ेजागृयामपुरो?हता""वयंरा?ेजागृयामपुरो?हता" WHY WE PERFORM KAAL SARP DOSH PUJA ON NAG PANCHAMI 2021 Official Website of Trimbakeshwar Temple Purohits Sharavan Maas!!! The month of Shravan is significant for the entire sub- continent of India as it is connected to the arrival of the South-West monsoon. As per Hindu Calendar, Shravan is the fifth month and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva swallowed the poison and held it in his throat with the help of Goddess Parvati. To soothe the effect of poison, Devas poured water on Shivji. Since this event occurred during the month of Shravan, Lord Shiva is worshipped, and Shiv Abhishek popularly performs by many devotees, especially during this month. It is believed that worshipping Lord Shiva in Shravan Maas is 108 times more powerful than praying at any other time of the year. For many Hindus, Shravan is a fasting month. They will fast every Monday to Lord Shiva and every Tuesday to the Goddess Parvati. Devotees pray to Lord Shiva during Shravan for luck, success, and happiness. www.trimbakeshwar.org info@trimbakeshwar.org

  2. व यंरा ?ेजा गृ या मपु रो ?ह ताः CONT.. Nag Panchmi Puja 2021: One of the most important festivals of Sharvan Maas is Nag Panchami. We worship the Snake gods and seek their blessings to protect our family from threats. In the month of Shravan, Snakes often come out of their burrows as burrows get with water because of the rain. We offer milk to God Snake. Symbolically, offering milk to snakes suggests that one must learn to be in harmony with nature. This year i.e.in 2021, the festival of Nag Panchami is falling on 13th August 2021. Performing Kaal Sarp Puja on the day of Nag Panchami will be more effective. Like Manglik Dosh and Pitru Dosh in Astrology, Kaal Sarp Yoga is placed in the category of inauspicious Yoga. It has been said about Kaal Sarp Dosh that who is having Kaal Sarp Yog the Kundali / Birthchart, has to face challenges again and again. This dosha is formed when all planets come in between Rahu and Ketu in Kundali / Patrika. Kaal Sarp Pooja on Nag Panchami in Trimbakeshwar Temple: According to Trimbakeshwar Temple Purohit Sangh Panditji, Kaal Sarp pooja is an effective way to overcome the Kaal Sarp Yog. Kaal means death, and Sarp means Snake. Nag Panchami and Kaal Sarp Puja are connected to each other. Nag Panchami is an auspicious day to perform Kaal Sarp Puja. We performed Pooja of five snakes, i.e. Anant, Vasuki,Takshak, Karkotak and Pingal.
