Number of questions in the GRE Quantitative Reasoning section The GRE Quant Section has 40 questions in total, which are divided into 2 sections, each containing 20 questions, and the time for each section will be 35 minutes. In total, the GRE Quantitative sections take 1 hour and 10 minutes. This section includes four main topics: 1. Arithmetic 2. Algebra 3. Geometry 4. Data Analysis

If you want to save time, it is always better to solve the easy questions – the ones which you are confident about. Instead of solving such questions when they appear, it is a good technique to solve them at the end.
