GALVANISING SERVICES Galvanized steel is widely used in applications where rust resistance is needed, and can be identified by the crystallisation patterning on the surface of the metal.Hot-dip galvanizing is the process whereby fabricated or structural steel, castings, or small parts, including fasteners, are immersed in a kettle or vat of molten zinc. Hot-dip galvanizing process results in a metallurgical bond between zinc and steel with a series of distinct iron-zinc alloys. Hot dip galvanising helps prevent corrosion of the metal and therefore helps prolong the life of the steel.
