Physical Fitness • Ability to respond to routine physical demands while retaining enough energy for any daily activities and sudden movements. • Example: Carrying groceries to the 4th floor using the stairs. Optimum Cardiorespiratory Fitness , muscular strength, endurance, body composition, Flexibility.
Cardiorespiratory Fitness • Ability of the body to sustain prolonged rhythmic activity. The body able to use oxygen adequately. • Examples: Swimming, walking, running.
Muscular Fitness • Has two components; strength is the amount of force one exerts at once. • Endurance performing reapeated muscular effort.
Body Composition • Amount of body fat relative to lean tissue(muscle,tendons, ligaments).
Flexibility • Able to move joints at optimum range of motion without strain.
