  3. Who was he ? Martin Luther was born to Hans lutherand Hans luther’s wife Margered on 10 november 1483 in Eislebe, Germany He was the one who brought out the change in the church by telling that the Church’s are doing some thing wrong.

  4. What did Martin Luther do *Luther Attacks the Pope He attacked the Pope because he found out that they were doing something wrong And the church went against Martin Luther. Reasons:- The church gave wrong information to the people to become popular, and make People have new beliefs.

  5. What happned to the Church • The Catholic Church suffered much as a result of the Reformation. In some countries, Catholics were not allowed to worship openly. Property was often confiscated by greedy kings and nobles who lusted after power and cared nothing for the spiritual things that Luther taught and the Reformation embodied. Works of art were destroyed, centuries old traditions abolished, and even Luther at one point said that reforms went beyond what he had intended. In essence, THE Church wasn't reformed. A new church was created, one which departed radically from the unified Church of history. Eventually the Catholic Church rallied with the Counter-Reformation. Church teachings and customs were solidified and unified, and great music and architecture were created which reflected this renewal. Martin Luther was excommunicated...

  6. Martin luther’s death • Martin Luther escaped martyrdom, and died of natural causes. His last written words were, "Know that no one can have indulged in the Holy Writers sufficiently, unless he has governed churches for a hundred years with the prophets, such as Elijah and Elisha, John the Baptist, Christ and the apostles... We are beggars: this is true."

  7. Martin Luther's German Bible • Martin Luther was the first person to translate and publish the Bible in the commonly-spoken dialect of the German people. He used the recent 1516 critical Greek edition of Erasmus, a text which was later called textusreceptus. The Luther German New Testament translation was first published in September of 1522. The translation of the Old Testament followed, yielding an entire German language Bible in 1534.  • Luther is also know to have befriended William Tyndale, and given him safe haven and assistance in using the same 1516 Erasmus Greek-Latin Parallel New Testament that had been the source text for his German New Testament of 1522, as the trustworthy source text for Tyndale’s English New Testament of 1525-26.
