Migrating from Project Server 2002 • An upgrade script Upg10db must be run to convert Project Server 2002 databases as some schema changes have occurred. • Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 cannot use SharePoint Team Services version 1.0 for its documents and issues management platform. • The “PSmigrat” migration tool will be available to assist you in migrating to Windows SharePoint Services.

Migrating from Project Server 2002 • Sharepoint Team Services V2.0 (Windows Sharepoint Services) requires Microsoft Windows 2003 server. • Microsoft Project Professional 2002 can open and save projects to a Microsoft Office Project 2003 server. • Microsoft Project Professional 2003 can open and save projects to Microsoft Project Server 2002. • Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003 requires Windows 2000 or higher. • Microsoft Office Project 2003 projects are not compatible with Microsoft Project 98 projects.
