As a Result of ATE Partnership on National Center grant… Impact at University of Dayton • 150 students impacted by the grant • 8 faculty impacted by the grant • 16 graduates of SCC’s Manufacturing Engineering Technology program have gone on to pursue a BS degree from UD in Manufacturing Engineering Technology • Dual Admission program with SCC involving five engineering technology programs, including Manufacturing Engineering Technology

Success Story – Top Gun Tooling & Machining Academy • An industry driven program to improve the competitiveness of experienced skilled Machinists, Toolmakers, and CNC Technicians • Advanced level, critical thinking program designed to elevate good technicians to top performers • Developed by SCC faculty, DTMA members, NCME instructional publications coordinators

  23. Success Story – Top Gun Tooling & Machining Academy • Fifth for-credit group will start Fall, 2004 • Program has been approved by Ohio Board of Regents • Program is now endorsed by the NTMA (National Tooling & Machining Association)
