  2. Discoverer • Uranus was discovered by a man named William Herschel in 1771. • William Herschel was 33 years of age when he discovered Uranus. • He told the pope and he was awarded a brand new telescope.

  3. Moons • Uranus has 27 known moons and were discovered by different people like William lassell, Gerard Kuiper and William Herschel. The rest of the moons were discovered by voyager 2. • Some of the known moons are Titania, Oberon, Aerial, Umbriel, Cupid, Juliet and puck.

  4. Surface • Uranus is actually a fluid Body planet • Uranus's atmosphere is the surface of the planet • the Voyager 2 scientist think that the darker area of Uranus is warmer than the sunlight side of Uranus • Uranus has no Surface

  5. RINGS • The rings of Uranus are made of dust and rocks which are 10m in diameter. • Every year the rings move around Uranus in a circular motion. • It takes 7 years for the rings complete a full cycle
