Phylogenetic Relationships of ToLCSDV Strains Confirmed by MP Analysis and Recombination Sites

This study examines the phylogenetic relationships of ToLCSDV-Sha[SD:Gez3:11] and other ToLCSDV strains through maximum parsimony (MP) analysis. The analysis corroborates RDP-predicted sites of recombination. Results are illustrated in trees depicting MP outcomes for two fragments: (A) nt 1588-35 and (B) nt 36-1587, with bootstrap values indicated at major nodes. Arrows highlight the shifts in predictive parent positions. Additional details, including begomovirus acronyms and GenBank accession numbers, can be found in Table 1.

  1. Phylogenetic relationships for ToLCSDV-Sha[SD:Gez3:11] and other ToLCSDV strains using maximum parsimony (MP) analysis to corroborate the RDP-predicted sites of recombination. Trees show MP results for the (A) fragment (nt 1588-35), and (B) fragment (nt 36 -1587). The bootstrap values are shown in major nodes. Arrows indicate shift of predictive parent positions. Refer to Table 1 for begomovirus acronyms and GenBank accession numbers.
