Relative Expression of MT1-MMP, MMP-2, and TIMP-2 mRNA in UCC Cell Lines

This study investigates the relative expression levels of the matrix metalloproteinases MT1-MMP and MMP-2, as well as the tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases TIMP-2, across a panel of urinary bladder cancer (UCC) cell lines, including UMUC3, 253J, HT1376, EJ28, T24, RT112, and HT1197. By analyzing mRNA expression levels, this research aims to elucidate the potential roles of these proteins in cancer progression and metastasis, contributing to a deeper understanding of bladder cancer biology.
