Oil Expansion Tank • Forced Lubrication • Nilos Ring Application • Oil Bath Lubrication Lubrication Options Lubrication system without any additional equipment. All of the interior parts (gears, bearings and seals) are lubricated by splash lubrication or direct contact from the oil Especially for industrial gearboxes where bearings cannot get oil with bath lubrication while working insome mounting positions. To lubricate these bearings oil from lower levels pump up directly to the bearing. Efficiency is much higher with the help of lower churning loses To prevent leakage an oil expansion tank is mounted on the gearbox, creating extra space for increased oil volume Upper bearings that cannot be lubricated by splash oil are supplied with a nilosring. These bearings are then lubricated with grease

Cooling Options • Cooling with Oil/Water Heat Exchanger • Cooling with Oil/Air Heat Exchanger Cooling system consists Oil/Air heat exchanger, motor pump and filter. Gearbox and cooling system mounts on a steel base frame. It is recommended for ambient temperatures below 40°C and not very dusty environments. Another advantage is that it does not need cooling water An oil/water heat exchanger with pump is mounted directly onto the gearbox. Cooling is through a heat exchanger with cold water. Additional equipment is available if needed like a pressure switch, flow switch and manometer. It is suitable for every mounting position • Cooling with Coil • Cooling with Fan Cooling is achieved by cold water passing through the copper pipes inside the gearbox oil. It requires cold water with a maximum 30°C temperature. It is suitable for H & B series gearboxes and only for M1 mounting position A cooling fan is mounted directly onto the input shaft of the gearbox to create air flow through the gearbox. It is the most practical cooling option without the need of cold water. Suitable for working conditions below 40 degrees.
