  2. CCAP Scope of Work Objective: Provide secondhand smoke specific technical assistance, training and educational materials to all TCS-DHS funded projects.

  3. Survey Overview: • 61 Health Jurisdictions • 34 Competitive and Statewide Grantees • Total of 95 agencies contacted • 77 agencies responded • Response rate of 81%

  14. Respondents currently working on SHS in Outdoor Areas • 70% are working on outdoor tobacco smoke in public areas (e.g. smoke free beaches, parks, waiting areas, college campuses). • 47% are working on implementation/ compliance with smoke free outdoor workplace laws (e.g. entryways, dining).

Outdoor tobacco smoke in public areas, beaches, parks, waiting areas, college campuses: training/technical assistance requested • 70% of all respondents requested some type of assistance with outdoor smoke-free public areas • 32% requested educational materials • 25% requested regional/statewide trainings • 19% group teleconferences

  20. Respondents currently working on SHS in Indoor Workplaces • 21% are working on implementation/ compliance with smoke free indoor workplace laws; including hookah bars/cafes, smoke free casinos.
