Cellular respiration. Omar El-Mousa 8C. Explanation. When Glucose from your food and oxygen we breath in flow through the arteriole and into the cell which produces energy from the mitochondria located in the cell. Carbon dioxide and water exit from the cell through the veinule when we exhale.
