DEFINITION -parasitose de lintestin grle due un protozoaire flagell: Giardia intestinalis (Lamblia intestinalis) -constitue une tiologie frquente des diarrhes chroniques. -affection cosmopolite. -souvent bien tolre, voire asymptomatique. -parfois peut engendrer des troubles digestifs svres chez lenfant. -se voit tous les ges (mais surtout chez lenfant)

    5. EPIDEMIOLOGIE Le parasite se prsente sous deux formes: -forme vgtative (trophozoite)
