CT P-20-W Program Governance Challenges New commissioner of State Department of Education New configuration within higher education being implemented • New Board of Regents replacing 3 existing boards • New President of Board of Regents • Personnel reorganization and positioning Working within limitations of legislation surrounding labor data Determining the best process for enabling system leaders to make policy decisions that support P-20-W work. Opportunities Governor plans to have the next legislative session focus on education. NGA and Complete College America New configuration within higher education being implemented • Easier to align policies and data within formerly separate constituent units
