  1. Applying Value Objective: You will apply value to a flower drawing in order to make it look 3D. DRILL: If there’s room- use yesterday’s page. • Draw the flowers to the right. (Miss Gauger will show how) • We will add value to the flowers, shapes, and Monday’s mandala.

  2. Today: • Try a flower on your own. • Apply shading to: • The flower • Shapes on value page • Element Mandala from Monday.

  3. Homework • Due next Wednesday. One week. • Trace large circle. If at home, use a plate and copy paper. • Make art in circle. • Look at Zentangle packet on Miss Gauger’s website or search Zentangles on your own. • Include Zentangle designs. • Add value. • Grade will be based on the amount of detail and effort, not just doing it. • Extra points if you draw outside the circle.

Be creative. • Draw from observation- landscapes, architecture, interiors, people. • Pages must be dated. • Must be filled with at least 2 hours of art. • Graded on effort. A • Drop letter grade per day late. • Gauger will give assignments every 2 weeks. You choose in between.

  9. Fine Arts Drawing: • Draw the inside of a drawer or a cabinet. • Due next Friday. • We need regular homework. Practice making art at home.
