  2. 2010-2011 Eco Literacy Project PLANTING AFTER BEFORE • Olson students at the creek in front of our school • cleaning up the creek • planting native aquatic plants • Horsetail (Equisetum hyemale) • Pickerelweed(Pontederiacordata) • Arrowhead, Bull Tongue (Sagittaria spp.) • Bulrush (Scirpusspp.) • Spike Rush (Eleocharis spp.)

  3. 2010-2011 Eco Literacy Project • Connemara Meadow Preserve • Planted >100 native prairie grasses

  4. 2011-2012 Eco Literacy Project • Connemara Meadow Preserve • Continued monitoring of progress • Continue buying and planting more prairie grasses

  5. 2011-2012 Eco Literacy Project • created biodiversity inventories • conducted water quality testing • to make sure that it’s staying healthy and will keep growing • compiling inventories and water quality data • using GPS and GIS technologies with GISetc and ESRI
