This research protocol aims to estimate hospital admission risks for cardiovascular and respiratory diseases related to PM10–2.5 exposure while controlling for PM2.5 levels. Given the significant burden of morbidity and mortality associated with air pollution, this study addresses a critical knowledge gap. Findings will inform public health interventions and policies, potentially changing how we approach environmental health risks. Understanding this relationship is vital for improving quality of life, optimizing healthcare resources, and reducing the costs associated with pollution-related illnesses.
