  7. Read The Invisible Bench togetherand then answer the following questions.

  8. The invisible bench 1. What does the word ‘invisible’ mean? 2. Is there really an invisible bench? 3. Is this a comedy? Why or why not? It means ‘can’t be seen’. No, there isn’t. Yes, it is a comedy because it is very funny.

  9. Listen to the tape of The Important Papers carefully, and then answer the questions.

  10. The important papers 1. Who do you think is the main character in the play? 2. What does the King actually want? 3. Why are the others unable to understand him? The king. Toilet paper. Because he was a king and he said that he wanted important papers, so the others would mistake them for some official papers.

  15. Planning: 1.Get into groups (5-6Ss per group) 2. Decide which play to act out 3. Clear task for each student: • Who will be the director? • Who will be the actors / actresses? • Who will find props? • Who will make costumes ? ……

  16. Preparing: • Actors and actressesshould try to remember all their lines. • All propsneeded should be found. • All costumesneeded should be made. • Directorshould be in charge of all • things related to the play. • Try to act out the true feelings and • expressions of the characters!
