IDENTIFYING TWO ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES AND CULTURES AND COMPARING THEIR DIFFERENCE • In organizational structure the management defines authority, roles, responsibility and accountability which are based on some hierarchy. • Term organizational culture depicts about values, ethnicity and behavior of employees in workplace

TYPES OF ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE • Functional structure: Employees inside the functional divisions of the company perform specialized activities. • Divisional structure: In this function each organizational function works in separate a division. Example geographical, market etc. • Bureaucratic structure: Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined to each group • Matrix structure: Combination of both functional and Divisional departments.

TYPES OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE • Hierarchy Culture : Hierarchy cultures are controlled and structured where they focus on stability, efficiency and doing the things right. • Market Culture : They are result oriented culture and focuses on achievement, competition, market share etc. • Role Culture : Followed in which there is higher degree of formalization and standardization. • Adhocracy Culture : Use in entrepreneurs organization where emphasis is on innovation and risk taking task • Clan Culture : Emphasis is on development and mentoring the staff.

For every department there are different managers and they delegate roles and responsibilities to their subordinates. Flow of information in their organization is on vertical basis. • Structure of Nestle: In Nestle Flat organizational structure is followed in which there are lees number of levels. The actions and works which are performed by employees are depends upon goals and objectives of organization.

  8. ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURES Culture of Asda: In Asda market oriented culture is followed, Market oriented cultures are result oriented culture and focuses on achievement and competition. Culture of Nestle: In Nestle role culture is followed in which there is higher degree of formalization and standardization. In these culture the higher level of managers coordinate the specialized functions of organization. • •
