  6. Smart Card Participating Merchants • - Living Realty, LLC - 10% Rebate on agent commission • Puccio’s - Buy a sandwich or salad at regular price and get a 20 oz fountain soda for free • Ironwood Tavern – 10% off all food • Jersey Mike’s Subs – 10% off any purchase

  7. Thomas Jefferson will hold an Open House on Saturday, Oct 13th

  8. Recycle your old printer cartridges here and help raise money for Smart’s Mill.

  9. For every printer cartridge we recycle, we get $2.00 store credit at Staples. That can add up to a lot of school supplies for our teachers and staff!!!

  12. Club sign-up forms and brochures are available in each house area, as well as on our school web site for print out at home.

  13. Sign Language Club will meet in room A7 the first and third Thursdays of each month. Our first meeting will be October 4th. Remember to bring in your signed permission slips.

  14. The starting date for the Smart's Mill Chess Club will be October 11th in C-8.

  20. SMMS 2nd Annual Talent Show! • - Applications are on the board outside of Mrs. Haberman's Chorus room • - Turn in application and accompaniment materials to Mrs. Burkhard in the Main Office or to a Music Teacher NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 5th (Friday)

  21. SMMS 2nd Annual Talent Show! • - Auditions will be scheduled for October 12th from 3:30-6:00 PM • - Talent show will be held on October 18 and October 19 (2 different shows)

  22. Grab your scissors and keep an eye out for the Box Tops for Education logo on the products you use every day. For every Box Top you clip, our school will receive 10 cents. That may not sound like a lot, but it adds up quickly.

  23. Bring your Box Tops for Education to your Focus teacher.  The focus group that collects the most will get a prize provided by the PTA
