  2. The Adani Group’s Mundra Port has recently welcomed its first-everLNG-powered vessel. This is a huge milestone achieved by the Adani Group in the port sector. It highlights the Adani Group’s extraordinary focus towards achieving sustainability. With this step, the Adani Group has given our country’s port business a massive boost. It has also paved the path for modernisation in the port sector. The initiative will also help the Adani Group put aside the controversies of the Adani Fraud Case which have been ongoing for quite a while now.

Mundra Port Achieves New Milestone by Docking an LNG-Powered Vessel Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has recently welcomed CMA CGM Fort Diamant which is the first-ever liquefied natural gas-powered container vessel to dock at the container terminal CT-64 of the Mundra Port. This vessel measures 268m in length and 43m in beam. It is the third in a series of LNG power ships having a capacity of 7,000 containers. These vessels operate on the CIMEX2K/AS-1 service. It connects the Indian subcontinent with China. This has further helped enhance India’s position in the global trade route.

This has further established the port as one of the leading container hubs in south India.
