Innovative TA.Destroyer Team Project: Harnessing Energy for Destruction
The TA.Destroyer project, created by Chase Shaver, Zach Webb, Matt Crumley, and Ervin Cooley, explores the transformation of potential energy into kinetic energy for an engaging final task—destroying one of our TA's. Our design features a marble rolling down a maze, hitting a stationary car that cuts a fishing line, triggering a weight drop. This weight then strikes a clothes pin, releasing a rubber band to successfully destroy a target. We aim to replicate this process as demonstrated in our initial video. Will the result match our expectations?

Team Intro: • Chase Shaver • Zach Webb • Matt Crumley • Ervin Cooley
Our Device • Marble rolls, hits the car, cuts the string, drops the weight on the clothes pin, releases the object, destroys our TA. • The TA Destroyer was designed to convert potential energy into kinetic energy in order to complete the final task of destroying one of our TA’s…..GUESS WHO
Energy Conversions? • We have: • marble rolling down the maze from rest • marble hitting car that is at rest • car cutting the fishing line and weight dropping • weight hitting the clothes pin and stopping • clothes pin releasing rubber band and destroying Patrick, which is priceless
Demonstration • Will it work the same as the video?
Conclusion • One less TA for future EF 151 victims
