  5. Who are near and dear to our Tirthankars Lanchans of Tirthankar Bhagwan16 animals & birds out of 24. Why Tirthankars chose them. There is a message for us. We need to take care of them

  6. Are we true Jain? Jiv Daya-was a top priority for our Tirthankars. What about us ? How much our time, money and energy goes for Jivdaya ? -------------------------------------------------------------- What do we think- Bhagvan Mahavir will like it more Tap, Upvas, Pratikramana, Chauvihar, Vyakhyan or Living a life with minimal harm to other living being

  7. Jivdaya---how many ways to do it • Taking care of animals- support to Panjrapoles • Avoid using items which contains animal ingredients. Don’t become partner in animal killing/suffering 3. Spreading awareness for animal compassion _______________________________________ We will never get peace till we hurt any living being

  8. jivdaya.. Support to Panjrapole. • Panjrapole is necessary-it is must.. • it is home for old animals • It is lifeline during draught ---------------------------------------------- • But, how many Panjrapole can be built ? • How many animals can be kept in all Panjrapole ? __________________________________________________ We save lacs of animals— while crores are being killed

  9. Before moving further..let’s look at some facts Do we know ? • Meat industry earns huge income from sale of leather and other animal ingredients. • Crores of animals are killed specifically for leather • Lacs of animals are killed for animal fat/bone powder, etc. • Thousands of animals killed/tortured for testing of cosmetic, medicines and in making of silk, ivory, honey, varakh, woolen, lac, shellac, etc.. Knowingly/Unknowingly we are providing support to slaughterhouse activities.. How do we stop it ?

  10. avoid leather.. Use non-leather shoes, purse, wallet, belt, etc. Where do we get it ? Anywhere……...any store

  11. How does this look like..testing on animals

  12. cosmetics/soap/detergents/tooth paste-which brand do you use • Many brand contains animal ingredients in lipstick, soap, detergents, body spray, shaving cream, tooth paste, etc. • Cosmetics are tested on animals/birds in very bad environment and many animals/birds dies painfully __________________________________________________ There are lot many good vegetarian brand options available

  13. What are we eating ?????? Pav, Choclate, Icecream, Biscuit, Chinese food, Jam, Cheese, ready snacks…does it contains animal ingredients ?

  14. What do we wear ? Silk/ Wollen

  15. What about all these…. • Honey, • Varakh--- Pl. don’t use it in ‘aangi’ or sweet. • Bone china-cup/dinner set • Ivory, lac, shellac, cultured pearl, lot many items..

  16. roducts…. Dairy ind • Cows/buffalos are tortured in dairy to get maximum milk • Continuous artificial breeding of animals to get maximum milk • Use of chemicals/drugs to derive maximum milk • height of cruelty & human greed-Use of machines to extract milk .... All these leads to dairy cow going to slaughter houses at the age of six. Use as little milk as possible…

  17. and lastly.. Our dear love for Plastic bags…

  18. think before you Invest in stock market- Don’t invest in companies which kills or hurts animals or carrying unethical activities ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please don’t worry….there are other thousands of very good companies to invest…and make money.. No need to make money at the cost of lives of animals/birds.

  19. Create awareness for vegetarianism One person eating non-veg is responsible for killing of on an average 2400 animals during his life span. We can save 2400 animals if we convince even one person to switch to vegetarian food. This is like getting ‘punya’ of building one panjrapole having 2,500 animals =========================================== Serve Veg food to your employees and encourage them to switch over to veg food without hurting their religious sentiment. Let them follow their religion. Vegetarianism is Humanity- Supreme religion

  20. BhagvanMahavir said-Live and let Live • Please pay some attention while buying…..No need to stop our joy/masti/life style-just change the way…… • Let’s say--We are Jain and 100% Vegetarian Please close mini Deonar slaughter house in our home
