  4. Before the school year starts • Discipline Plan • Assessment Plan • Handbook • Meeting w/ Administration • First teacher meeting (music stickers) • Personal visits to teachers and staff

The First Week of Class • Establish a Routine! • Make sure they play (last year’s music/concert?) • Personal warm-ups • Professionalism • Opening Remarks • Student Input on Discipline Plan • Student Health Registration (Check with the Nurse) • First rehearsal (last year’s music) • Use humor and smile but be consistent!
