At Burgess Elementary School, the School Improvement Council (SIC) fosters true partnerships with parents and community members. We encourage innovative ideas and active participation through committees based on community input. Our approach includes transparent meetings, detailed minutes, structured agendas, and accountability through regular reports. We address critical goals such as improving student health, enhancing school grounds, and increasing family engagement in STEM. The collective efforts of our SIC have made a measurable impact, illustrating the power of community involvement in education.
