  2. Keith Haring • I am studying Keith Haring a pop artist from the 1980s.He was born in reading PennsylvaniaMay 4, 1958 and died February 16, 1990

  3. Career • Keith Haring was interested in art at an early age. he was inspired by graffiti art, and studied at the school of visual artsHarings first public attention with chalk drawings in the subways of New York.

  4. ART • He mostly drew human figures and animals in a cartoon like style one of his best is the radiant baby, which he became known for.

  5. The Pop Shop • Keith Haring opened the Pop Shop in downtown Manhattan. Haring saw the Pop Shop as an extension of his work, a fun boutique where his art could be accessible to everyone.

  6. Artist statement • Why Keith haring work inspired me was because his art is simple and very creative its not all super detailed like Picassos. Its very expressive and in a cartoon like style witch is the type of art I like. Id rate this project (8/10) because I got a little behind.
