Service Standards Recommendations • USPS conduct review of the existing standards and update as necessary • Use Fall Mailing guideline format for destination-entry mail • Expand to include Origin-entry mail • Retain service standard CD for Origin-entered Mail • Ensure consistency • Express delivery standard as a range of days • Separate standards for carrier-route presort and non carrier-route mail

Service Standards Recommendations • Adjust service standard for seasonal/fall mailing season • Increase service standard delivery day range by 1 day (except for DDU mail) • Fall mailing defined as: September through November • Create ongoing review/update process of Service Standards • Business rules changes • Demonstrated performance • New technology • Include industry input
