The Impact of Quality in Mexico • November 2005, the school number 172 from Cortazar, Guanajuato won the SEP Quality Award. • November 2006, also the school number 62 from Salamanca, Guanajuato won the SEP Quality award. • February 2006, we created the first student branch of ASQ in the school number 62 from Salamanca, Ganajuato, the first in a public education system in Mexico. • September 2006, we organizated the First Internacional Congress on Quality with the support of: ASQ, CASS Program, CIED, Technological University of Leon and Guanajuato University, and we signed an agreement of collaboration with ASQ and BCC. • December 2006, the 24 schools of Guanajuato State got its certification in ISO 9000. • March 2007, 24 schools obtained its accreditation of 24 academic programs. • In May 2007, in WCQI Orlando, Fl, UTL signed an agreement with ASQ to provide training and certification exam.
