IPPSO DG Task Force • Current emphasis • preparation of an “Ontario Distributed Resources Plan” to identify objectives, goals, strategies, issues, and actions. • “recognizing financially the full delivered value of energy supplied by a DG installation”. • recommend changes to the LDC settlement process that would recognize the value of DG.

IPPSO DG Task Force • Regulatory Issues Identified - need for Market Rules changes - need to revisit LDC rate design • Grid Effect Issues Identified - assessing the value of DG grid impacts • Interconnection Issues Identified - standardized DG interconnection rules for Ontario - streamlined field testing process for certified interconnection systems
