  1. Distributed Generation Task Force Discussion Follow up from the 11-29-2007 DGTF meeting. Process Flow for utilizing small renewable generation usage data during the data aggregation process.

  2. Process Flow for Non-IDR Netting Discussions TDSP installs meter at the point of interconnection for the ESI ID. The meter measures “monthly energy flow” for “net” load & generation TDSP submits monthly data for the “net” load & generation through TXSET ERCOT loads monthly data for both the load & generation values for inclusion in the data aggregation process Aggregate generation is subtracted from aggregate load during the data aggregation process Resulting aggregate load or aggregate generation is profiled utilizing existing load profiles • The following needs to be quantified: • Impacts on TXSET Transactions (Does this require a TX SET release?) • Impacts on Market & ERCOT Systems • Impacts on Business Processes • Impacts on Historical Usage requests • Impacts on data postings

The meter measures “interval energy flows” for “net” load & generation TDSP submits monthly interval data for the “net” load & generation through TXSET ERCOT loads monthly interval data for both the load & generation values for inclusion in the “IDR” data aggregation process Aggregate generation is subtracted from aggregate load during the “IDR” data aggregation process Resulting aggregate load or aggregate generation is utilized in settlements • The following needs to be quantified: • Impacts on TXSET Transactions (Does this require a TX SET release?) • Impacts on Market & ERCOT Systems • Impacts on Business Processes • Impacts on Historical Usage requests • Impacts on data postings

Funding approved for a market project under the Retail Market Subcommittee for small renewable generation Rated critical All project efforts for 2008 must be cognizant of possible conflicts with resources working on the nodal effort Currently no Texas Set release scheduled for 2008 2008 Project List
