The Mechanics • Robotic or driverless car. • A car that navigates on its own by sensing its environment. • Some of the techniques used to read the environment are laser, radar, GPS, and computer vision. • The car chooses appropriate navigation paths, senses and avoids obstacles and takes into consideration relevant signage.
