  3. Creating a New Chart • Before you create a chart, you need to identify the data that is to be included. • Once you’ve done that, you can then select from a wider range of chart types to set the layout and format for your chart.

  5. Changing the Chart Layout • The Layout tab under Chart Tools now contains most of the commands that you would need to use to change the appearance and placement of chart elements.
