  2. Betsy Ross • I will introduce you to the Fourth grade and to our classroom. • If you have any questions during my presentation, please raise your hand and wait to be called on.

  3. All About Ms. Murphoy • My background • I grew up in Pine Creek. • I attended Bay Elementary, Bay High, and East College. • My experience • I’ve been teaching for 20 years. • I have also taught fifth and sixth grades, but third is my favorite.

  4. My Family Are Teacher Stephen • My children • daughters, Hill and sara • son, dude • Our pets • dog, Spot • cat, Fluffy

  5. My Goals • To give you the academic and social skills you need to progress to fourth grade. • To provide a supportive and fun classroom environment. • To help you make new friends and discover new interests.

  6. Class Subjects • The subjects we cover during fourth grade are: • Reading and writing Science • Social studies • Music and art

  7. Reading • Briefly describe the topics you will cover this year in Reading. • This may take more than one slide.

  8. Writing • Briefly describe the topics you will cover this year in Writing. • This may take more than one slide.

  9. Division • Describe What you Know About division Addition And Inches This may take more than one slide.

  10. Science • Briefly describe the topics you will cover this year in Science. • This may take more than one slide.

  11. Social Studies • Briefly describe the topics you will cover this year in Social Studies. • We Will use Computers Monday!

  12. Music and Art And Gym • Briefly describe the topics you will cover this year in Music and Art. • Gym You Should Follow All rules In The Class Room.

  13. Classroom Community • Our classroom is a community. In our community, we have rules to help us get along with each other. • Our class rules are: • Be respectful and responsible. • Be organized and follow directions. • Be on time Don’t Be Late Or You Stay in. • Be prepared.

  14. Homework • I will assign about 120 Minutesofhomework every night. This includes 20 minutes of reading. • Your homework packet is due on Friday morning. • Theres no Extra Time To Do Your Homework Make Sure you do Your Homework Or you Go to work Room And Stay in.

  15. Tardiness • School starts at 10:10 A.M. • If You Arent in The Classroom on Time You Will not Get Breakfast And Get DMR Done then You will Be in Work Roon. • If You do it 10 Times You will be sent To a level 4 Auto So Get Here ON Time.

  16. Field Trips • We have lots of fun field trips planned for this year! • We will attend two plays at the Children’s Museum as part of our Science Grade. • We will visit A Beach Grove park and take water samples from the river as part of our Water unit on the environment. • We Will Go To A colts Game Which is The Super Bowl On Monday.
