  2. Introduction • The installation of LIMS on computers running on Windows Vista Operating System is not any different from the previously described installation. • However, the following configuration is required before opening LIMS for the first time on Windows Vista for the smooth operation.

  3. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to LIMS folder located under Program Files on the drive where LIMS was installed.

  4. Right click on the “LIMS” folder and select Properties

  5. 3. From the LIMS Properties screen, select the Security tab page (by default it might be on General tab page) which leads to another screen like the one shown below4. Select Creator Owner or Users from Group or User names box
