  2. http://training.net.ve/ 3 MONTH CHECKLIST The 3 Month Checklist goes hand in hand with the final lesson of the course, using the 5x20 Approach strategy to get your site off the ground in the most efficient way possible. While it’s okay if you aren’t able to follow this checklist to a tee, it’s important to know that doing the things in the checklist will give you optimal results when getting your site started. Month 1 Niche & Keyword Research ☐ Make list of 5-10 potential niches. I suggest going through StumbleUpon. ☐ Research your niches by going through them in Google Keyword Planner. ☐ Make note of niches with plenty of high search volume keywords. We’re looking for niches that have at least 2 sets of keywords with 50k+ searches per month (using Pillar Keywords). Eliminate one with no high search volume keywords. ☐ Out of the select few niches that made the cut, go through competition research process. ☐ After analyzing competitors for your niches, choose one single niche based on competition and keyword opportunities. ☐ Set up your first 2 Pillar Keywords. Setting up the site ☐ Register your domain name. Make sure that you plan for growth BEFORE you select it. ☐Set up your site. At this point, install Yoast SEO and W3 Total Cache. We can add the rest that were mentioned in the course as we need them. Content Creation ☐Create and publish your first 2 Pillar Posts. Link Building ☐ Aim to build 20 links to each of your 2 Pillar Posts using the outreach strategies in the course. 1

  4. http://training.net.ve/ 3 MONTH CHECKLIST Final Thoughts Using the 5x20 Approach, it might appear on the outside that we’re not really doing much. I mean... if you follow every step of this checklist, you’ll only end up with around 25 pages of content. That might be far less than what you’re used to doing, and it’s probably a lot less that what you thought would be required to build a high traffic site. But like links... it’s not about quantity. It’s about quality (and paying attention to the right metrics). Instead of throwing up hundreds of pages, we’re throwing up just a few of them. And instead... we’re spending our time link building. 20 links to each Pillar Posts will give us around 100 high quality links pointed at our site. And we already learned the power of Pillar Posts. These aren’t just randomly written articles thrown onto our site. Pillar Posts alone will drive a ton of traffic to your site. As you might have noticed, only after we finish the 5x20 approach do we start creating inner pages. We’ve built the links. We’ve built a bunch of authority. We’ve established 5 extremely high quality articles on our site. Because of our link building efforts, this is when creating inner pages can actually have the effect that we were aiming for - ranking with no link building, and outranking sites based on our domain authority. Month 3 is still fairly early for a new site to start dominating with its domain authority, but we’re on the right track and you should start realizing the results of using the 5x20 Approach very soon. Thinking that it’s about page quantity is one of the biggest reasons that most people fail with their niche sites today. It’s one of the biggest mistakes I see. New sites with 20+ pages of content immediately. Short 500-1000 word posts. And no links to their site. Well... maybe 1-2 links here and there, but nothing compared to what we’ve built using outreach strategies. Building a new site in this way is simple, and is the most efficient way I know of getting it off the ground properly, while building something powerful. 3
