  1. Static Eliminators The static eliminators are products that protect susceptible items from the effects of static discharge. These static shields are also known as antistatic (anti-static) devices, anti-static electricity devices, or static charge eliminators. They work by dampening, reducing, or otherwise inhibiting its buildup or discharge. Static eliminator or static ionizers eliminate static and dust and can neutralize and clean surfaces at remote distances. Static neutralization is a practical method of static reduction; however complete static elimination is not readily attainable. In its simplest form, a static eliminator or static ionizer is a static reduction device that produces positive and negative ions which are attracted to an unbalanced surface or material. As long as friction is not reintroduced, static electricity remains at minimum levels. Since static eliminators vary in terms of capabilities, a careful consideration of performance specifications is an important part of product selection. Application of Static Eliminators Static electricity is a stationary electric charge imposed on a solid surface. The solid surface either gains or loses electrons by interacting with other materials or surfaces, most commonly after any amount of friction has been applied. The resulting surface will have an excess of either positive (+) or negative (-) charges that attract opposing charges and repel like charges. The study of stationary or slow-moving electric charges is known as electrostatics. The electrostatic forces causing attraction and repulsion can be explained by Coulomb's Law. Coulomb's law states: "The force of attraction or repulsion between two-point charges is directly proportional to the product of magnitude of each charge and inversely proportional to the square of distance between them." Static eliminators are used to eliminate static and dust. Static electricity is a problem, which companies face globally. It primarily affects industries, which handle nonconductive materials like plastics, paper, board, laminates and textiles. The electrostatic attraction repulsion cause materials to stick to machinery, or to each other, leading to jams, slow machine speed and poor quality and productivity. Friction, pressure and separation are the major causes of static electricity. When humidity is lower, higher static charges are generated. It becomes more noticeable in the months of winter, in dry laminates, and in air-conditioned environments.

  2. The static eliminator safety and compliance standards, laid down a framework for devices and there is a need to adhere to depend on your product, industry, and location. International Standards and compliance Other organizations in the world that issue static eliminator standards include the military (Mil-Specs), the ESDA (Electrostatic Discharge Association), ANSI affiliate, the NRC (Us Nuclear Regulatory Committee), and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Also, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has been putting out standards for static eliminators related to electrostatic discharge for customers around the world since the 1980s. We highly recommend making sure that your supplier can make static control products that meet IEC standards before agreeing to work with them. For information on the best standard requirements for your application, talk to your industry leaders. Our ergonomically and precision forced static eliminators design are fully compiled with international standards and norms to deliver best and reliable quality and focus for our customers spread across the globe.
