  2. Objective • Review and discuss project design process; • Discussion on each campaign’s BRAVO; • Learning about BROP, arrange next phrase tasks.

  3. Summarize In order to help CMs design the project, especially make BROP, Rare held BROP workshop at Lijiang city during Apr 8th -10th ,2009. There were 4 CMs and their Las, BRPs had joined the workshop, we also invited BR expert Wang Shuwen and TNC project officer Wang Dezhi for advising. During the workshop, CMs had a deep communication among BR experts, Las and Rare staff, BROP achieved a big success. The CMs believed that they had a deep thinking on BR and identified the following work objective, with more confident on running Pride campaign. With the help of TNC and Lijiang Forestry bureau energy station, we visited 2 TNC project site of alternative resources, we learned the technique, household management and environmental impact on solar water heater, energy efficient stove and bio gas.   24. Overall evaluation After the workshop, we collected feedback from 4 CMs via email, they all choose good.

  25. Like & Dislike

  26. Achievement • Learned about each campaign’s process, especially BR expert introduce a lot of alternative resource which will help the CMs • Learning technique of energy efficient stove, bio gas and solar water heater • Requirement on preparing BROP • Timing control • Optimize plan combination. A good alternative resource project should design follow the method of combine optimize technique, and economic development.

  27. Suggestions • Combine the repeated content, add more time on participants discussion, it’s not good CMs always play the main role. • Less tight schedule • Hope all CMs could join the BROP workshop • Discussion time is not enough • Add more visiting content, choose another project site. • Add some successful case study with discussion
