Do You Remember? • We remember Simple Sentences, and we remember how to combine them in a variety of ways. • Notice that the above sentence has a comma and conjunction connection  • We’ve also learned Sentence Pattern 6; nevertheless, we still need some practice with it. • This pattern is one of the most difficult. • Most recently, we’ve learned Sentence Pattern 7: this pattern incorporates an introductory clause. • This is Sentence Pattern 7 and also includes a colon!
