Governor’s Early Childhood Taskforce Recommendation 2: “Working in cooperation with the ECAC, the Kentucky Department of Education should identify and implement a screening tool for children’s transition and entry into kindergarten and coordinate its use with other child assessment requirements.”

New Regulation 704 KAR 5:070 Section 3: Administration • Statewide beginning Fall 2012 • No earlier than 15 days prior to start of school • No later than the 30th instructional day of school
