Introduction Author:C.S. Lewis Illustrated:Pauline Baynes Publish Date:January 1995 Type:Fairy Tales Novel NARNIA…the land beyond the wardrobe, the secret country known only to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy…the place where the adventure began, the place where changed everything.
Story Plot-1 Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy were sent away from London during the war because of the air-raids. They were sent to the house of an old Professor who lived in the house of the country.
Story Plot-2 Days after they arrived, Lucy found a small room with an old wardrobe. She got into it and became the first one to find the secret of the wardrobe in the mysterious house, a whole new world-Narnia.
Story Plot-3 Lucy came back from Narnia. At first no one believes when she told her adventures in the land of Narnia. But soon Edmund and then Peter and Susan discover the magic of Narnia.
Story Plot-4 They met so much amazing creatures such as beavers can talk, and the Great King of Narnia, Lion Aslan, and so on, for themselves.
Story Plot-5 However, Edmund was in danger. He was lured by food and the power of the Narnia which the Snow Witch lied to him. He needed to bring his siblings to her snow palace, but he failed. Edmund was imprisoned in a small jail.
Story Plot-6 Bringing Edmund back from the witch’s devil clutches, Aslan had to die on the stone table for changing his life. What can Edmund do? And how can Aslan “revive” him from the death of black magic?
Inspiration-1 After reading this book, it inspires me a lot. Not only the plots bring reader way back into the story, but also teach me what calls loyalty, honesty and trust.
Inspiration-2 We can’t betray others just for some temptation on oneself, just like Edmund rebelled his family for some candy from the Witch. We also can’t lied to other people to achieve ones purpose. I really like this book. I hope everyone can read this more than once.
